On July 25th, during Galicia Day, the historic Monte Real competition was held in Gondomar, one of the most complicated and exciting regattas in northern Spain.
The start looked complicated with little tailwind but 10h 35min and 16 s later the Volvo 70 Marnatura, led by Luis Bugallo and José Luis Freire, made history by beating the record that had been held for 13 years by Cenor & De Dietrich.
A clear demonstration that the Marnatura team faces sailing with a brave attitude, always working as a team, guided by a commitment to constant growth but without losing the fundamentals, humility and ethics in each competition.
