The main objective of the TWINFISH project was the implementation of the digital twin in the CABOMAR processing plant, to achieve an environmental and digital change in the agri-food sector.
The project is based on the use of digital twins, which allow us to know the current operation and future behavior of products or processes, obtaining data from sensors in real time. In this way, it seeks to improve the operation of the food chain, promote innovation and energy efficiency, favoring the viability of the company in the future. In addition, because of being able to monitor the processing lines, we have implemented a MES (Monitoring Execution System) to obtain and analyze a large amount of data on the processes, enabling the detection of bottlenecks and points for improvement in our production lines.
Project execution period: 01/09/2022 to 30/06/2024
The project has been co-financed by the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) and the European Maritime Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (FEMPA)
